Restorative yoga. You already love it, your still trying to grasp an understanding of what it is or you have yet to try it. Join me in this 3 week series as we take a deep dive into all things restorative yoga to gain a clear understanding of what this practice can offer us, why it is important and how to optimize your time in restorative yoga classes.
Topics to be discussed over the course of this series:
What is restorative yoga?
Why is restorative yoga overlooked, but so important? Reflect on rest in your life + debunk myths
Health benefits & nervous system reset
Correct prop usage to properly support yourself in class & tips to improve your practice
Restorative yoga off the mat - how to build a home practice (using props found in your home) and incorporate it into your self care routines
In addition, each week we will spend time looking at 1 restorative yoga pose and yes -- relax into it & take rest. Class will be right before the 3pm restorative yoga class that you are encouraged to also sign up for separately so that you can put your knowledge to practice!
All levels are welcome!
