Practicing yoga with Ally has been a positive, uplifting and warm experience. Her classes never fail to challenge my body, open my heart and calm my mind. She has a very attentive and supportive presence in her sessions.

Ally is a very authentic and lovely instructor. You can tell that she puts a lot of preparation and thought into her classes. Everything from educating her students on yoga philosophy, how certain positions can help with your organs/functions of the body while offering a wide range of postures. I always look forward to taking her Yin and Restorative classes.

I’ve had a number of 1:1 in-home sessions with Ally in addition to her restorative classes, as I wanted her to help me focus on poses that would help increase my flexibility and strength in a way that didn’t hurt my back. She always teaches me a few new exercises that are customized for me, and helps me use props or the layout of my house to make it easy for me to do. She’s super welcoming, and I feel like I’m having a best friend over that cares and wants me to get better! One benefit that I didn’t expect is that her restorative sessions have also helped me mentally - I’m pretty stressed at work and am always in a rush to do things, but Ally taught me how to slow down, breath and just take time out for myself. I’m much calmer now. I can’t say enough good things about Ally, if you’ve never tried restorative yoga or are too scared of standard yoga then I highly recommend reaching out to her, she’ll help you love your body and mind!

Ally makes all our stress-reduction dreams come true! By coming into our home once a week, she allows us to find true peace and stillness in our practice. Not to mention, much deeper states of sleep. She is a calming force of nature. She even transformed Monday into a day we actually look forward to! It’s been such a wonderful way to kick off our weekly routine and a much needed ritual to take better care of ourselves.

Ally is a natural and talented facilitator which I had the pleasure of experiencing as she led KISMET’s first-ever New Moon Circle. Ally has a calming and vibrant presence which she infused into the entire ceremony, from a group meditation to a flower water bowl ritual. Ally’s knack for making our participants feel comfortable and safe while encouraging everyone to step outside their comfort zone is a true gift. We can’t wait for our next Kismet New Moon Circle with Ally and feel honored and privileged to partner with her!

Ally is a caring and talented yoga instructor who truly “gets” what it means to slow down, and who skillfully guides her students to states of deep relaxation. I feel refreshed and reset after practicing with Ally, no matter what else is going on in my life.

Ally has a magical way of engaging our students and meeting them exactly where they’re at. She is masterful at creating fun, engaging sequences that keep even the youngest of kids engaged. She creates a space where her students feel comfortable to move, share, and grow. Above all, Ally is a model of mindfulness. She is calm and peaceful in the face of inevitable challenges. She is a true asset to all of her students and colleagues.

Before Tea Ceremony & Meditation with Ally, I knew little about tea or tea ceremony. Her class opened me up to how a tea and meditation practice could connect me to the earth, all the elements, and my inner self. I come out of each class feeling more grounded and was inspired to bring tea into my morning ritual. When I wanted to learn more, Ally was quick to share resources and her perspective. Thank you for your thoughtful and sweet offering <3

I’ve been lucky enough to take Ally’s Yin and restorative classes and every time it feels like exactly what I needed. Ally guides each class with a soft, trusting voice that makes me feel at ease and helps me let go of what is happening outside of it. She creates an atmosphere with her music choices, poetry readings and moments of silence that provide the room full of students with direction as well as space. Her sequences are perfect for beginners and advanced students alike - allowing you to ask yourself what is best for you.

I never miss restorative yoga with Ally! This is basically laying around on pillows in gentle poses or stretches where you don’t have to activate any of your muscles. So relaxing! I find it so grounding, especially in the middle of the week. Being gentle with my body helps me be gentle with my mind, and gives me permission to indulge in self-care in all aspects of my life, something I struggle with. It helps me detach from the craziness of every day life. I always leave this class calm, relaxed, and with a dopey smile.

Ally is incredibly skilled, caring, and compassionate. I find myself sinking into rest and restoration as she guides us through poses, meditation, breathing, yoga philosophy, and even drinking tea! Her playlists are also wonderful, and I find myself listening to them often when I need relaxation and revitalization outside of class. I’m a big fan of her restorative and yin classes and her tea ceremonies.

Over the past year Ally and restorative yoga have become such an important part of our life. Ally has such an amazing ability to lead us (including our 5 year old) in a weekly practice to breathe, reflect, and center ourselves for the week ahead.
